February Starts

I started a few things in February and did some catching up on my blocks for Scrappy? Sew bee it! . I made a pouch for the Modern Scrappy Bits Swap! and mailed all of it off to their new homes.

I made a pouch and an apron for my sweetheart for Valentines only a few days late. My digital Kenmore got sick and no matter what I tried would not stitch right. Yesterday, it finally got sent off through Sears to be cleaned, repaired, and oiled. I hope they can repair it! I really love my Kenmore's. Luckily, I have an older Kenmore that is not digital but still stitches great! It took time to put the one machine away and set this other one up! My husband knows me, I am usually late, even when I try not to be.. Zoey got a new hat, but it fit David's bulldog better than Zoey, by summer it should fit fine. It was not as hard as I thought it might be to make.

This is all a rehash of what I made over the last month and have blogged about at

March Goals

Start a Lorax Quilt for my Grandson!

I have everything I need to start Alyssa's @ Pile O' Fabric Skill Builder BOM My goal for this month is to complete a couple blocks and try FMQ!

Riding in the car as much as we have the last two month's I have read quite a few magazines. I thought I would point this one out to everyone because I found 8 projects in this one I would like to do. Not only does it have traditional projects but it has quite a few modern quilts and a table runner. Easy Quilts Spring 2013 issue The link will take you to the index page but you better hurry it only has a display date until March 11th.

My March start will be Cascarone! I love the triangles!
