I recently was offered opportunity to sew with Paintbrush Studio Fabrics Painters Palette Solid to making a Herringbone Baby Quilt. The company sent the fabric and it was like Christmas around here. The PBS Fabrics wanted to highlight the Painters Palette Solids collection but especially Lipstick which is rows 3 and 4 in the quilt below. Painters Palette Solids Pantone color of the year!
The first thing I noticed where the colors bright, the fabrics soft, light weight, and sleek! Perfect for a baby quilt or any quilt! The colors included Painters Palette Solids White, Crimson, Tomato, (2 rows) of Lipstick, Verbena, and Salmon
The Herringbone Quilt Pattern by Melissa Mortensen Of Polkadot Chair (Link to free pattern) It is a free .pdf pattern and has a great herringbone chart that I used. It includes directions for making HST’s!
