Welcome to In The Boon Docks I am Lisa Thank you for stopping by  and checking out my blog! Rayos D’ Sol Pouch Is available for free at Laura Raquel Quilts I chose prints from Sun Print 2021 Ordered from Alison Glass Shop The pattern is not complicated  Any beginner could complete it. It is well written and with great diagrams for completing the project! I love the professional look  and will make many more! I finally decided on the layout above! I do recommend trying out different fabrics ahead of sewing.  I wasn’t happy with my first front side  and ended up picking out my stitches and starting over! Could have saved myself some time  If I would have auditioned my fabrics beforehand! I had to stop and fix my machine in the middle! The stitches where messed  up and I had to fix the tension! The block is easy to do and looks beautiful when done! First I sorted out my Jolly Bar by color family! This helps you choose which ones you will use in the block Choose (8)   (if you have 4 color families such as I did, 2 of each)! If you look at the center of the finished block it should have  all (8) fabrics in it! That is how I knew I did it right. The  Perfect 10 ruler  is great for cutting  half inches and inches up to 10”s! It m
