Happy Thanksgiving to US citizens here and abroad!.
Everyone near and far, I hope you have a great weekend! XX Lisa
Here in the boondocks I get a lot time to read when Mr. D (7) & Mr. R (45) are both in school. I purchased (2) copies of this book, one for me and one for the WINNER of this giveaway.
I'll wet your appetite with some project pages!
It has interesting quilt blocks and fun projects. I bought it to see about making t-shirt blocks. My youngest daughter must have a hundred shirts she has saved. Since moving into her own home, she wants me to make a quilt with them. So goes the research to find out what I need to do make one.

ReplyDeleteWhen my Dad passed away I upcycled/recycled his button down shirts and jeans into quilts for myself, sisters and mom. I've made several more memory quilts since then....
ReplyDeleteThe next memory quilt... I want to use clothing from 'both sides' of the family to make a quilt for my daughter when she gets married and also one for my son, as a tangible way of joining th families together.
