Black and White Aurifil Giveaway

Black and White
Back to basics
with thread

This is a hands-on giveaway!

1. If you win you have to sew something (anything) with the
Aurifil threads you are sent within 30 days and share it here!

2. Give your opinion if you like it or not!

That's it!

When I started sewing
I bought two colors of thread one white and one black!
All the other colors didn't come into my life until
I decided to stitch in the ditch on some potholders.
I still use more black and white thread than any other colors!
(white for everything light colored
and black for the darker colors)!

What color thread do you use the most?

I want to get Aurifil 50 wt. thread in the hands
of every person who sews and let them
see the results for themselves!

It is the best thread in the world!
One large spool will last a very longtime,
why because there is more thread on the spool!
Less lint and breakage!

They make great toys too!
(When your 20 months)
Aurifil 50 wt. is a multipurpose thread
My very helpful assistant enjoyed our photo shoot!

This is an Aurifil sponsored giveaway!
Please visit their site to find out
all the uses for Aurifil 50 wt. threads

Some common sense advice

- Keep the machine clean while stitching.

- Brush the lint away from the needle
every time you change the top thread.
(I use a small soft bristle paintbrush to do it)

- Clean out the bobbin area
every time you change the bobbin.
(It takes seconds to do)

- Lint is not only caused by thread but
by the fabrics and stabilizers.

- Read your machine manual,
under Machine Maintenance
on how to clean the
feed dog and bobbin case holder!
Then remove the lint and dirt.
I clean mine after each small project
and several times when piecing a quilt!
