Amanda @ The Cozy Pumpkin came up with the "Year of the Stash" button to remind impulse fabric buyers to think before you buy. You know what? I think it helps! So click the button and check it out! It is so nice to know I am not alone!
George, (2), chihuahua smooth, Brandy aka Puppy, (15) pug/beagle mix, awaiting their boy to come home from school. Notice that old crochet blanket? I crocheted that on the plane on my way to California to wait for David's birth, 7 1/2 years ago. It has been loved to death but held up well. I just found a pink/yellow mix to make one for little Zoey.
Found these at Walmart for around $4.00 a skein! They make great soft blankets for the lil ones.
Stalking my partner on her blog/flickr/Pinterest for ideas on what to make for her special gift! If you have any ideas please let me know what you think! I am open to suggestions, $20 - $30 handmade gift!
I started David's Lorax quilt. I showed him last night what I was planing to do and he asked me "Can't I just have them and hang them on the wall"? So when I am done with all the blocks, they may end up mini quilts all over his walls. I wonder where he got that idea from? I am off to enter giveaways have a great day! Create and be unique, Lisa
Lisa -- I know that this means that you are not my covert Robin -- because if you were you'd have ideas coming out your ears (darn). I am working on my covert robin as well and have decided to make a crochet item -- because it appears that this is something that she has been wanting to learn and I am also making a small quilted item -- probably a mug rug or small wall hanging with her favorite quote on it. Hope this helps and good luck -- can't wait to see what you come up with.
ReplyDeleteHi! Was looking at your "George" Chihuahua and he looks just like our "Tasha" that we think is part Corgi, but maybe not. I thought Chihuahuas were small & skinny and nervous? There are probably different types of them.
