Stitch on Prints - December Aurifil Giveaway
Stitch On Prints
A showcase for hand stitched projects and an Aurifil giveaway. Each month, I show you my latest project and those of others that entered in prior months. I hope you will join us and submit one of your own projects. Aurifil 12 wt. thread is perfect for putting those extra touches on any sewing project! This giveaway is sponsored by Aurifil.
I found this panel Holiday Frost by Jan Shade Beach for Henry Glass & Co., Inc., at a LQS. This is my granddaughter's first Christmas and I wanted to make her a quilt her size to mark the event!
This panel even had the marks on were to sew your stitches. The lines come out nice and evenly space.
I used Aurifil # 4670 Silver Fox a beautiful variegated Gray for all the hand stitching on this project!

ReplyDeleteI really like that panel too
Pat Bravo is my favorite inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI now follow you on bloglovin!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite designer is Jinny Beyer. I have purchased many of her patterns and fabrics over the years. I am not familiar with many of the others on the list of designers you provided... Now is a good opportunity to get to know them as well! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI am now following your blog on bloglovin'. I also really like the quilt panel you did. Beautiful, and the quilting marks make it fool proof for even hand quilters like me!
ReplyDeleteI don't have any hand stitching projects to share, as my hand stitching isn't very good. I do stitch odd bits here and there by hand on the projects that I do mainly by machine, mostly embellishments or "final touches" sort of things. I think that's why I'm so intrigued by your quilt panel - a chance to do more hand stitching successfully!
ReplyDeleteHow can one choose a favorite? They are all so fabulous!
ReplyDeleteVanessa Christenson is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI like a lot of the designers...but I will name Susan Brubaker Knapp.
ReplyDeleteI follow via GFC and Bloglovin'
