Inspiration

The inspiration for this quilt was a swap partner. She is a very talented quilter and I was a little awe struck when I saw her beautiful work. I had just attained the Tigers from Tula Pink's Eden and I knew I had to use it for the mini quilt swap. I was also intimidated by her work and worried I could not possibly make something she would want. Ever do that? But this is how we grow in our skills and our confidence. This woman is a tiger in life and likes hexagon quilts. I cannot do a lot of small hand work due to arthristis but I couldn't let that stop me. Using the Hex N More Ruler I cut out the big center hexagon. I cut 1 1/2" strips from all the different lines I own. I think the black background and blue stripped binding of "True Colors" really made all the colors "pop"! I hope you like it!
