Prayer Request

My daughter and her children where rear ended the week of Thanksgiving! The car was totaled and she is going to therapy weekly for her back.

Tuesday the apartment above theirs caught on fire.  It killed her neighbor and left them homeless!  Luckily for our family her and the girls happened to be at a friends house.  We are so grateful this friend is letting them stay with them until next week when they come home for Christmas. We pray by then that housing will be available for them to move into! Pray for us all to be strong during these times of troubles!

We feel so sad about her neighbor and for his family. Please pray for them!

Here is the link to the newspaper to read about what happened!

The circled window is my granddaughters’ room! All the water from the fire trucks ended up in their apartment!

Please take my advice get Renters Insurance!

Tell everyone you know to get some! She didn’t have and lost everything in less than an hour!

Thank you for praying and reading!
Have a a Merry Christmas!
Lisa

  1. Prayers will be said. God always has a plan; even though we can't figure it out. Hope all is back to the "new" normal for everyone soon.

  2. I am so sorry for your daughter. How awful that there was even a fatality in the fire. I hope they land on their feet real soon. The important thing is that they're ok.

  3. Oh, Lisa, I'm so sorry to hear this. I will pray for your whole family, and for her to have a place. I'm SO glad that they were not home. It will take time, but stuff can be replaced. They couldn't be. Are you doing a GoFundMe to help her restart? If you are, let me know. I can help a little, and I can post about it.

  4. Wow! I do hope your daughter is able to recover completely from the accident, and hope the children weren't hurt at all. I'm glad they weren't home during the fire. It looks terrifying!

  6. Lisa - Oh my goodness, when it rains, it pours! I am thinking your daughter should be ready for some good news right about now. I will hold them all in my thoughts and prayers, and you as well, so you don't worry about them too much. Your health and sanity is important, too.
