2015 Sampler Blanket (Quilt) Block 1 January My friend Rie at Crafty Rie started this monthly get together. If you click on the blue link that says Crafty Rie you can read all about it. As you can see you can choose what you make and how you make it! My favorite way to work. I will be using Cotton+Steel Basics and Robert Kaufman Kona Solids on My Sampler Quilt. For January I decided to do one of my favorite blocks Scrappy Trip Around The World (Blue words are the link to pattern)! It is very simple and made out of 2 1/2 strips. You can make quite a beautiful quilt using these blocks but since this is a sampler blanket/quilt each month I will choose a different block with a link or directions on how to make it just in case you want to try a few new blocks!
