Jolly Bar 3 Quilt Along Week 2

Hello and Welcome to In The Boon Docks my name is Lisa Johnson I’ll be sewing along over the next 8 weeks to make a Tablerunner! To do these blocks you will need the book Jolly Bar Book Vol. 3 This weeks block is  Homecoming  Page 12 We are making 2 house this week to use in our Tablerunner!  They  chain piece easily together! The block is easy to do and looks beautiful when done! Kinship FPP Pattern By Angie  Gnome Angel #100daysa100blocks2019 also available in machine piecing and EPP! A little behind but I am doing  my best to catch up! The blocks are not difficult and it is great to see what everyone is using for fabric! Blocks 1 - 30 Sewn together  Block 33 Block 32 Block 31 Block 30 Block 29 Block 28 Block 27 Block 26 Block 25 I am 8 days behind but not giving up! Tula Spider Mini Quilt

"Spider Mini Quilt" Size: 9 1/2" x 9 1/2" Fabrics: Spider & Borders - Holiday Homies, Tula Pink, Freespirit, Background & Backing - miscellaneous 5" solid squares Binding - Rocacco Grunge, Moda Threads: Piecing & Quilting - Aurifil 50 wt thread 2000 (Light Sand), Raw Edge Applique - Aurifil 50 wt thread 2692 (Black) Binding - Aurifil 50 wt thread 2250 (Red) So who takes the Christmas fabric and makes a Halloween mini quilt? That would be me! Tutorial Print and cut out a random spider 3" or so. This helped when I raw edge applicated it on the 5" square! But I am getting ahead of myself. I outlined the spider on some iron on double sided interfacing! Then centered everything on the red cross in the green square. Ironed it on the 5" x 5" square. Sewed the raw edge applique then the web string. I am sure there is a better word, but I cannot think of it! Sew the 2 1/2" borders on, match at top, trim! I do sides fi...
