First I sorted out my Jolly Bar by color family! This helps you choose which ones you will use in the block Choose (8)   (if you have 4 color families such as I did, 2 of each)! Welcome to Getting Caught Up Hello, I am Lisa and if you haven’t been here before welcome! I hope you decide to follow along on my sewing and quilting adventures! This maybe old news to some of you and I love you for it! Thank you for sticking with me throughout the years! Hi Everyone, I am just dropping in to discuss .pdf patterns! I buy them all the time from clothes, bags, to quilts! Big ones, small ones to little itty bitty ones! I love them all and have them all backed up to the cloud! If you don’t know what a cloud is your hard drive on your computer or tablet! 1.  Depending on where you buy it from you will get the opportunity to download it as soon as you pay! Others sites might send you as email to download!  Don’t wait til later to download it.  Do it as soon as you can! Not going to use it right away, that’s ok, but download it to your storage! I say this because I use all Apple products and I download everything to iBooks! 2. Print it off for some light reading! You might find that cute bag is not as easy as you thought or you need to order interfacing, snaps, buckles, or more fabric! But read it! 3. Look at and cut out the pattern pieces and make sure they are all there! What do I mean? Well, you might find the pattern designer...

Happy New Years!  Welcome to 2019 Word for 2019: Finish My Top Nine on Instagram Our family has had a rough year and  Lilly was so excited to get a new baby doll just like the one she lost! She carries it everywhere now! Family bonding has been good for both girls and their mother! I am praying 2019  will be easier on all of us. The Go Fund Me Page for  Our daughter and grandchildren is still open. We are praying everything will work out for a  small house a few miles down the road. The point of social media is to meet new friends!  But how often do we actually go out and meet someone  we talk to daily on social media. This is my wonderful friend Leona!  I talked to her on Flickr, her blog, and Instagram for about 5 maybe 6 years.  I can honestly say it was so different to meet her in person.  It has changed that friendship into something greater.   I am so happy we went a couple of hours out of our way on vacation to met her and her son.  Best trip just for a conversation in real life and a few hugs. It will last me until next time.  When I will make a point to add her to our trip! I also caught up with a quilt shop owner and friend Karen! My sister in law took me to her shop 2 years ago while we where visiting her.  We kept up a friendship on Instagram. Karen owns Fabric Smart in Gulfport, Florida! Her shop is a Modern Quilters Dream!
