Giveaway
Happy Tuesday, hope I am not to late!
I have worked on my Super Sized Hexagon Log Cabin, got the block all sewn together.
I went to the store and purchased the fabric, got home and guess what? It is the wrong color. So, later this week I will take my creation with me and find the right shade. Two trips to town in one week because I didn't THINK! Look boo hoo!
Lesson learned to match colors on a project, bring it or a color swatch with you to the store.
Here is an inspirational photo of a great pattern I saw this morning in the kitchen. David picked me this tulip the other day and it was opened this morning. Nature can really inspire me.

I'm a happy follower!
ReplyDeleteI don't remember all the designers - just the ones I especially like! I wish I could say I was organised enough to keep a written record along with a swatch of fabric but I just don't!!!
I usually keep the selvages to help me remember later. Either that or I have stalked a fabric line (Ruby) and will never forget. I usually can remember the manufacturer so I can search online.
ReplyDeleteI write them down when I order any fabric and keep a log so I know how much I spend...However when writing blog post I rarely say where the fabric is from! I'll have to remember to do this in future! =D
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower. :) I sometimes just happen to remember, especially if it's a favorite line. If I don't remember, that's okay. I don't take notes or anything.
ReplyDeleteI remember some, and give credit when I can, but if it is scrappy then mostly likely I won't know. Especially since I have purchased some fabric at thrift stores. Thank you for the great giveaway - I love mysteries. If I win, some scraps of Backyard baby would be great. :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. Look at all those buttons on your blog! Proud of you!
You taught me well Karen!
