Le Challenge

This month's challenge was "Wings" so guess what has wings? Birds!

So I submit to the Le Challenge Group

I am excited to show you what I made! Working to create a little texture for my birdies I used Aurifil Thread 12 wt. It is wonderful to use to hand stitch, embroider, or cross-stitch. I fussy cut the birds out of this cute fabric "Just Hanging" and went to work stitching. The stitches really look great on printed fabric designs. I am new to embroidery and can't do it for a long time but I really love the way it looks. I hope you do too!
