February Am I getting anything done

The Grow Your Blog Giveaway is open until February 15th! If you haven't entered please stop by and enter to win a pouch made by me!

I thought I would share with everyone my progress with my February Goals and blocks. Our sweet beauty has returned to her parents with her pillow and things are getting back to normal. I am not blogging as much lately due to medical issues. I assure you that I am fine - on occasion medical doctors like to change medications on patients to make sure they are receiving the best care. This usually causes discomfort and headaches on my part (the patient). So, let's get started!

I have started on the Ruffles project and am about half way through! I will show you a peek but don't tell I did! Who says you can't teach an old dog a few new tricks!

Over at soscrappy the Rainbow Scrap Challenge color for the month of February is "Pink"! - digging out the pinks

I haven't started my block for the Designer BOM over at Aurifil. The February Designer is Amy Gibson!

I have worked all evening on my Sew Kitschy February block from
Quiet Play and I am still not finished. I really love Kristy's patterns even if I have to rip it out at least once each time. Please just remember I am learning and what maybe hard for me will probably be easy for you!

Did you know? I didn't - each month you link up your block you might win a prize! I was so excited when she contacted me and let me pick three of her patterns from her shop. Kristy's Craftsy Shop download February's block for free until the end of the month! Thank you Kristy! She has a hedgehog!

BOM @ QADesigns

Here is another Paper Piecing BOM that is free if you download the pattern off Craftsy each month or pay $3 for the pattern after the pattern month. I don't know if I will be doing this one the patterns are more advanced than I am at the moment but she really has some beautiful ones. I know I will be at least watching I think the quilt is going to be pretty awesome. You might want to click on the button and take a look around.

Thank you for stopping by!
Create and be unique,

  1. Lisa, I hope you are feeling better. Over a week ago, I woke up with a headache to the core of my head. I used to have migraines that ruled my world. After living with them for over 40 years, we finally found a medication to control them, so I was caught off guard. I finally had to go to the doctor. He gave me a shot of steroid as well as oral steroids and upped my regular pain meds. It is getting better. So, I empathize with you. Sometimes if we can muster the energy, sewing can help take our minds off our troubles. Your paper piecing is adorable. You are a tease with your ruffle - lol. I didn't see the free BOM on Craftsy and then, again, I didn't spend a lot of time looking for it. I have enough to do to keep me off the streets for quite some time. Thanks for an interesting post.
