Hey have you seen what is going on at Sew Mama Sew hundreds of blogs have linked up for Giveaway Day, May 12, 2014, but it has grown so big it now stays open until May 16, 2014, to give everyone enough time to enter into the Giveaways!

For those of you coming for Giveaway Day to enter my giveaways, yes there are (2) giveaways! One on this post and a link to another one. Fabric and a special seam ripper!

My name is Lisa! I have blogged for over (2) years.
I like to sew, quilt, crochet, knit, and DIY projects at my home in the boon docks. I am a Christian, Wife, Mother, Grandma (Nana), and Daughter. We have dogs, chickens, roosters, deer, turkeys and some misc. animals that stop in and visit.

I try to have giveaways each month for my friends and followers.

1. Visit Fat Quarter Shop Quilt Club Return here and tell me in the comments which club you might like to join!

2. If you are a "In The Boon Docks" follower you get a second chance -
Don't forget to leave another comment!

(2) entries per person are possible!

Giveaway day is open until May 16 at 8 p.m. EST. When I will use Mr. Random Generator.org to pick a number! I will email the winner by
May 18, and note the winner in the giveaway post.
I will mail the winnings on May 20.

Dresden Plate Block My block is 24" x 24", the fabrics I used to make this Dresden Plate are Ombre Dots by Riley Blake and Kona Cotton Solid Coal by Robert Kaufman. I followed the directions in the EZ Make A Dresden Plate Quilt Ruler by Darlene Zimmerman. The directions are very easy to read and simple to do! So excited I completed it. Greg (Cartwright's Creations) & I A note from Greg Dear Readers I have provided two seam rippers to Lisa so she can have one and one to give away. They are both made from beautiful old growth oak which was reclaimed from the original train depot in Weston (Lewis County), West Virginia. Train service was established in Weston around 1880. This wood is representative of a great part of my passion for this venture in woodworking for me – that is finding wood with a story to it.
