Wonky Star Mini Quilt
Starry Night Mini Quilt
19" x 19"
Fabrics: Blueberry Park, Lula Magnolia, Threads: Aurifil 50 wt.
Reduction of a Foundation Pieced Pattern!
Sew on a folded square piece of fabric on the top two corners will make it easy to hang with a dowl rod! Do this before sewing on your binding at 1/8"! Then sew on your binding and it re-enforces it for hangingn the wall!
Make sure whenever you shrink a FPP pattern that you add the 1/4" back on to the pieces and print them off again.
This was made for the Instagram swap #starblockquiltswap!
My favorite Aurifil 50 wt. thread and bobbini! They work great together!
Until next time! Lisa
This is such a pretty mini! It certainly sparkles!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I love the fabric and thread choices. Stars are my favorite! Reminds me of stargazing in the backyard on a summer evening. Great tip on seam allowances, and I have never done a "hanger" that way. Definitely a must-try!
