EERIE NIGHTS Blog Hop

Welcome everyone to my day of the EERIE NIGHTS Blog Hop! I want to thank the ladies who made this possible Marian, of Seams To Be Sew, It’s Creepy and It’s Crawly, It’s Eerie and It’s Spooky… | and Amy, of Sew Incredibly Crazy. Both ladies put in a lot of work to bring this hop to you! I am grateful that they included me and In The Boon Docks because I love Halloween!

I like to do things a little different around here in the boon docks of West Virginia. I have gotten into to "made by me" or "handmade clothing"! So for this blog hop I found this awesome Timeless Treasures Fabric, Fun-CG3540 that glows in the dark and the Grainline Studios "Scout Tee"! Well I may not glow as well as I would have liked but it does make others stop and look! I of course used my favorite Aurifil thread #5007 and it works great! The lovely gray sheen looks wonderful for the topstitching!

EERIE is me out in the cemetery to take these pictures for you! I went to visit our Aunt and Uncle on this chilly night!

If your interested in creating your own "Scout Tee" Scout Tee – Grainline Studio for paper or Scout Tee PDF – Grainline Studio for PDF! I bought mine and am not affiliated with Grainline Studio in any way!

If you are looking for a great shirt pattern to use with your quilting cottons look no further! I highly recommend the "Scout Tee"! I made several shorter versions this Summer to wear with capris!

In the Fall and Winter I wear leggings and needed a little more length to my top, it was really easy to alter the pattern to add 3"! It even has a cut line on the pattern to add or lengthen so it is great for beginners like me!

Watch out some crazy old lady may come by your house for candy on Halloween night with her little friends! We travel in packs it is safer that way! Have a Safe and Happy Halloween!

  1. Really cute top Lisa! I have you slightly beat in the cemetary - I'm officiating a Halloween wedding in a cemetary this year, definitely a first! Afterwards the couple is taking their grandchildren trick-or-treating. It'll be great fun! Happy Halloween!
