It is the prettiest Red and it sparkles when you turn it! Barry makes all his items in his backyard shop in Texas!

    According to my husband, I collect way too much junk. Though, in all honesty, every time I tell him I like something, he goes on the hunt for as many different ones he can find. Personally, I believe it's all about the hunt for him. For me, I just like what I like for different reasons.

    The first thing I started collecting was mugs. I have always chosen a new mug evert where we travel. I have a nice collection, too. I just wish I had a better way to display them. Right now they're in my hutch.

    I also have a small collection of Willowtree Angels. They are figurines. I received my first one add a Valentine's gift from a student. The rest have been gifted to me by family and friends for different occasions. I'd love to own them all, but that'll never happen. At least one day, I'd really like to add the Nativity set to my collection.

    Finally, I collect Norman Rockwell paintings and prints. I life Americana. His artwork is a true representation of Americana.

    Ugh....I used to collect bears, then pitchers and antiques. Now, anything quilty related and I absolutely adore RED!!!!!

    Nothing anymore bc it all became too much "stuff" to keep and dust. But in the past I collected kerosene lamps - and bells. I still have a few of each.

    I love mechanical things. I would love to collect sewing machines that sew leather, poke holes, or nearly any other such item. I do not have any of those, but I do love my regular sewing machines. As for seam rippers, I'm always hoping to find one that is very sharp, easy to hold, and won't roll off the table when I sit it down. threadartist4@gmail.com

    I collect hand blown glass pumpkins made by Drew Hine and those made by Jack Pine. They are sold at Compliments Gallery in Kennebunkport, Maine and I always buy one when I get to go back there to leaf peep. I haven't been able to get back there for four years due to medical issues but my niece brought me one when she went back two years ago. edrin1932(at) gmail.com

    I collect pandas. (Well I collected them until I got married and then they got packed away until we moved into the "bigger" house. The house is still half built and the pandas are still in a box. I never really wanted to collect anything, but my mom wanted me to. I told her that I collected savings bonds and she never really got any for me...

    I collect batik fabric. Honestly I collect many types of fabrics, I'm just waiting for the perfect pattern to make my son a batik quilt. I just thought, I think I have started collecting sewing machines. I have a Pfaff, an Bernina and 3 Featherweight sewing machines.

    I visited Barry's etsy page. It reminded me of a friend who passed away a year or so ago. He was a woodworker and turned bowls and pens like the ones that Barry has. I don't think he ever did seam rippers though. I miss him.

Welcome to "In The Boon Docks"! The wait is over it is finally my week in the blog hop. I have made lots of new good friends. Thank you Beth from plume and june this has been a great experience meeting other bloggers and learning more about being one with terrific tips and tricks from seasoned veteran of the internet. Unbelievable resources from the best. I have enjoyed the last seven weeks tremendously. Again, Thank you! So what do I blog about at "In The Boon Docks"? Everything! I will give you a little sampling of my life here! I hope you enjoy it! This beautiful buck stood maybe 30 feet away as I snapped pictures of him eating his dinner off my back porch!
