HM3 Eliot Max Dunne
August 2, 1986 - April 23, 2011

Today I remember you!

He was the oldest son of Frank and Selina Dunne. 
Loving brother to Erica and Ethan Dunne.
He serviced two tours in the United States Navy,
 as a Hospital Corpsman with US Marine Units 2/5 and 1/5 as a 
Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist in Afghanistan and Iraq. 
He was injured multiple times during service. 
He was a great man, a hero and warrior!

Awards

Purple Heart, Navy Good Conduct Medal NATO,
Afghanistan Campaign, Iraq Campaign, Naval Defense Service Medal,
Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon,
Enlisted Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist 

I loved him so much, he was the perfect child!
He grew into a handsome (not just on the outside), funny,
brilliant, strong, and loving man!
He love this country and served this country honorably!
He died to soon due to service related PTSD Suicide.

Please remember his family today in you prayers!
His death affected so many people’s lives!
My daughters and I miss Eliot so much!

  1. Wow, my heart breaks when I hear of these brave men and women who suffer from PTSD related to the service to their country. War changes you/them. We don't know what demons chase them and some can never recover. I hate that they turn to suicide. My heart goes out to you and his family as my husband has served in the USMC 32 years and my son has enlisted in the Navy.
