Tips and Tricks
I cut all my strips with the super handy Creative Grids Stripology Squared Ruler Creative Grids #CGRGE2 it doesn't slip and makes cutting a breeze!
This month we are using another great ruler by Creative Grids especially if you like Dresden Plates Creative Grids Starburst 30 Degree Triangle Ruler Creative Grids #CGRISE30
Start with the best thread, I use Aurifil 50 wt. Dove for almost everything, 50wt Aurifil Dove 100% Cotton Mako Spool Thread Aurifil #MK50-2600 | Fat Quarter Shop Start sewing from the tip of the unit! Trim after you sew each unit down or when you are finish it will look like the one below! It is not worth the time to have to rip it all out! Believe me! Trim, trim, trim, the unit seam allowance to avoid the bulk at the end!
I really love how easy these blocks went together and look! I would love to take the time and make a whole quilt out of just these blocks!
